Afghan Cookery Class
JNRC is starting a new venture to fundraise for the center, as well as to promote Afghani food and culture. Amin Rahim, Head Chef at the Rome Kabul restaurant, and Elizabeth Greenfield, a Prue Leith trained professional chef from the UK are coming together to create a 3-hour cookery lesson on Afghan steamed ravioli (mantu), vegetarian dumplings (ashak) and a favourite ancient Persian dessert, Baklawa.
Lessons will be held in the professional catering kitchen on the second floor of St Paul’s Within the Walls Rectory, and all students will have an opportunity to learn, eat the finished product, and take away the recipes afterwards. Please support us by sharing this widely with your foodie friends! We as that there be a max of 6 students per lesson. We welcome groups and are taking bookings now to Christmas. To book, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
