Is your class, family, or church planning a trip to Rome? Each year thousands of tourists explore the historic and iconic sites of the Eternal City. Likewise, thousands of college students come to Rome each year to study the most romantic of the romance languages, or other courses of study. At the JNRC, we believe your visit or study abroad experience in Rome will be a more accurate—as well as a deeper and more meaningful experience— if you take some time to explore the reality of political refugees in this global city.
We are skilled at coordinating experiences that will complement your mission trip, pilgrimage, study broad, or family vacation in Rome. Whether short or long-term, we are eager to work with you to develop a service project, service-learning experience, or tour of the JNRC that is appropriate to your group.
We ask all groups coordinating a visit or service experience for a financial donation to the JNRC that is appropriate to your group size and length of stay. Service Learning Groups are allowed a max of 25 students per visit. Visit usually last from around 9:30am to 12:30pm. The visit in return, we promise you’ll leave Rome with a deeper understanding of the city, the plight of refugees worldwide, and commitment to what it means to be a global citizen.
