Thank you for coming to the Joel Nafuma Refuge Center (JNRC). We’re glad that you have arrived safely to this center after a long journey.
The JNRC is a day center for asylum seekers from all over the world, regardless of ethnicity or religion. The center is not connected or funded by the government, and most of the people working in the center are volunteers. We try to help refugees like you and give you information and support necessary to face life in Italy.
The JNRC is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 14:00
(unless a special closing is advertised)
Breakfast – 9:30 to 10:00
Distribution of toiletries, clothes, and shoes – 10:15-12:00
Language Classes – Times vary
Computer Classes – Mondays through Fridays, 12:00-13:30
Job Center – Thursdays, 11:00-14:00
Art therapy – Wednesdays, 12:30-14:00
Psychological assistance – Wednesdays, 11-14:00
Music Therapy- Mondays and Thursdays, 12:00-13:30
Guitar Lessons- Tuesdays, 12:00-13:30
