Latter-Day Saint Charities Emergency Support
Between October 2023 and December 2023, the funds generously donated by LDS allowed the JNRC to respond to the urgent need for NFIs expressed by guests of the JNRC. After the reopening of the Center in September 2023, the JNRC experienced a huge influx of guests due to the increase in landings at Lampedusa. Because of intensifying conflicts, that of Sudan amongst others, more migrants were registering at the JNRC and arriving in Rome in a state of emergency.
The JNRC expresses its heartfelt gratitude for the continued support it receives from Latter-Day Saint Charities, in order to assist refugees in their time of need. Over the years, LDS’s generosity has enabled us to provide support and hope to countless individuals and families seeking refuge and safety. We are truly thankful for this unwavering commitment to our cause.
