Ukraine Help Desk
In response to the ongoing Ukrainian refugee crisis the JNRC is now offering open help desk hours dedicated to the Ukrainian population in collaboration with ItaliaHello.
A cultural mediator of Ukrainian nationality and a team of volunteers will offer information on services in the area, administrative and legal support and help in finding a job. Assistance will also be offered for the enrollment of desk users in Italian language courses aimed at work integration held at the JNRC.
The Help Desk is open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our regular location (Via Napoli 58).
The creation of this help desk comes after the completion of a week long humanitarian mission to the Ukrainian-Moldovan border that the JNRC carried out in collaboration with BAOBAB Experience. We visited the Moldexpo Reception Center in Chișinău, Moldova where we were able to provide Ukrainian refugees with material help such as food and hygiene items.
We also stopped by refugee centers on the outskirts of Chișinău and the border city of Palanca to provide assistance to more refugees and other NGOs.
